Victorinox | VICTORIA Collection - I was recently asked what inspired the new women’s collection and responded by saying, “it was fashion focused from the start”. Some inspiration came from fashion houses Marni and MuiMui. As well as vintage Lily Pulitzer, and women who wear Diane Von Furstenburg. Leather, a key detail, is used minimally, was inspired by vintage shoes from the 70's. Ceramics made by Heath and Massimo Vignelli offered some "lifestyle" inspiration too. Both are two of my favorite ceramic and product designers. Women who buy the collection are thoughtful about what they purchase and seek to find most of their travel needs in their luggage pieces. Victorinox makes legendary luggage, known for their high quality knives, their luggage offers the same. This is Victorinox's second collection for women, and I designed both of them.
